Neuro Institute has continued to experience a lot of changes over the past 18 months. Most have been for the best. We believe that sometimes you must take a step back to do an honest evaluation of who you are before you can grow.

As this journey continues for Cari and me, we know that we must always stay who we are. When we try to change we become like everyone else in the rehabilitation community. “We must be different”. We have to offer our clients something better, whether we use better equipment or just the hope that someone will try and not give up on their loved ones.

At present our staff remains small and efficient. Renae has emerged as a great leader as our staff PT. Tom Hoffman was a great find for us as our staff OT, Jim Cole remains a ROCK as our lead trainer. Tonia Baily has been tremendous in organizing our speech/cognitive therapy program and has recently been joined by Phyllis Benson who brings experience and great ideas to Neuro Institute. We have also recently brought on Jodi Robinette a PTA who brings us lots of energy along with great compassion. Chris Scott continues to help Neuro Institute run smoothly.

Neuro Institute continues to work closely with Phil Muccio whose knowledge in the field of electro medicine and pain management is unmatched.

Cari and I would also like to thank the rest of our staff; Christina Ronnberg, Debbie Perry and Angela Bullock for taking control of all the behind the scene work to keep Neuro Institute up and running.

Lastly, The Next Step Foundation has recently joined forces with “Freedom for Life” and their director Darol Kubacz. Cari and I know this will help us become closer to our goal of helping get individuals into good recovery programs.

I know it’s been awhile since our last update, but Neuro Institute continues to learn and grow. Remember the road to recover may seem like it never ends and it may have some scary turns but we know that God is with us and that is why we “expect miracles to happen.” We can’t guarantee miracles; we just know they happen everyday!!
